Each MOVE meeting will be facilitated by Dan Raftery, a professional group facilitator with over 25 years experience in several consumer product industries. Dan, president of Raftery Resource Network, says, "Each person who joins MOVE will connect with peers in a unique way. MOVE will be a valuable sounding board that can quickly serve as an external advisory board."

Dan currently facilitates five diverse executive share groups.

• Chief Officers Reaching Excellence (CORE). Leaders of housewares manufacturing and distribution companies meet quarterly to discuss current business-critical topics and trends. Dan facilitates the meetings and serves as an informal communication hub between meetings. Members pay an annual fee. The International Housewares Association subsidizes the costs for the groups. About 30 executives are active in Dan's three CORE groups. (2001 - present)
• Food Distributors Roundtable. Logistics, transportation and operations executives from wholesale and retail companies gather annually for two days of problem-solving. Dan facilitates the meetings and develops the agenda. LMS Intellibound sponsors the meetings. Participation has grown to [25] people. (2007 - present)
• Unsaleables Managers Forum. Functional cost center managers from food and drug manufacturing companies meet twice a year to share best practices. Dan facilitates the meetings and his firm manages all aspects of the meetings. The group is self-funded and has 10 members. (2003 - present)

Mark Your Calendars!

Three meetings will be held each year near Chicago's O'Hare airport, with the kick-off meeting on April 13. Attendees will pick dates for the next meetings.

Membership is offered annually and seats are limited
